The Church of St John the Evangelist is a beautiful historic building with unique medieval wallpaintings that has been at the heart of the community of Corby Glen for over 850 years.
It is open for visitors and private prayer every day from around 9am to 4.30pm during November to March, and from 9am to 6.30pm during April to October.
Services of Holy Communion or Morning Worship are held every Sunday at 11am and a quietly reflective service of Holy Communion takes place every Wednesday at 10am.
About this website
This website brings together information and imagery, history and hopes.
See it as a guidebook to the building, as a notebook for ongoing projects, as a journal for past and future events.
How to help
If you would like to become a Friend of Corby Glen Church, please get in touch with one of the Churchwardens, Sue Glover or Mick Franklin, or email churchwarden@corbyglen.church.
If you would like to make a donation towards the regular maintenance and running costs of the building and churchyard, please Give A Little by following this link: St John’s Church, Corby Glen – Give A Little. We need to raise around £1,000 a month towards this cost, so every donation counts.
If you pay income tax or capital gains tax you can increase the value of your donation by allowing us to reclaim the Gift Aid; the Give A Little page enables this. You can also opt in for further contact from the Friends should you wish.
